There's something romantic about even saying it... Cape Cod... Ahhh...
Maybe it's all those idyllic photos of the Kennedys, tan and glamorous and so very rested.
Or maybe it's just the thoughts of James Taylor crooning there for years.
Maybe it's simply fond memories of our own Cape-cations that make it seem so dreamy.
Whatever the draw, one thing is clear: Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects are pros at creating homes that are fresh and modern but still quintessentially Cape.
Nothing was overlooked in the build (and design!) of this stunning showplace -- least of all the views.
The butterfly plan that was used it perfectly displayed from this angle, the two wings arcing out from the rectangular body to capitalize on the expansive water before it. 
Even in large homes meant for entertaining and filling with friends and family, it is those tiny spaces that still tend to capture our hearts the most. We can't decide if the library ladders, incredible architectural details or being surrounded by books are our favorite things about this space!
The classic Louis Poulsen artichoke fixtures add both an element of whimsy and a nod to the past.
What a wonderful, cozy nook for curling up with a cup of hot tea! We love the cowhide pillows and, of course, that roaring fire. It's perfect for a chilly Cape Cod morning!
Another great fire to wake up to! 
If you can't get inspired here, it would be pretty difficult to get inspired anywhere! Of course, it would be awfully tempting to get out from behind that desk and on the water.
Then again, sometimes inspiration is about nothing more than total relaxation.
I can't even imagine how beside himself my little guy would be with this play loft! Boats inside are cool, but boats inside are even cooler!
Stunning views and architecture that capitalizes on every inch...
Those are just a couple of reasons that we think Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects' work is in good taste!
